Effective October 27, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Ringorra LLC ("Ringorra", "we", "us") and the business that signs up for our service ("you"). By paying for a plan or using the service, you agree to them. Please read section 14, which requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration instead of in court.
1. The service
Ringorra builds, trains and runs an AI receptionist that answers phone calls for your business. Depending on your plan and setup, it can answer questions, book appointments, take messages, text you a summary and transfer calls to your team. We do the setup for you based on the information you give us.
2. Plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor, Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
- Each plan includes a set number of call minutes per month. Minutes over that amount are billed at your plan's per-minute rate at the end of the billing period.
- Unused minutes do not roll over.
- Prices do not include taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes that apply.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
- If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is paid.
3. Cancellation and refunds
There is no contract. You can cancel anytime by emailing ops@ringorra.com. The service runs until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it. After you cancel, you should remove any call forwarding to your receptionist. Calls that still reach it may be answered and billed until the end of your paid period.
4. Call recording and caller consent
The AI receptionist records calls and creates transcripts. California and several other states require every person on a call to agree before it is recorded.
- You are responsible for giving callers any notice of recording that the law requires and for getting their consent, for example through your own phone greeting or menu. Tell us if you want your receptionist to give a recording notice at the start of each call, and we will add it.
- You are also responsible for making sure your use of the service follows the call recording, privacy and telemarketing laws that apply to your business and your callers.
- If your business is subject to special rules (for example HIPAA for health information), tell us before you go live. Unless we sign a separate written agreement for it, the service is not set up to handle protected health information, and you must not use it for that.
5. How we use call data and AI
Recordings, transcripts and call details from your receptionist are used to run your service. We also use them, together with data from our other customers, to train and improve our AI models, prompts and setup methods for all customers. This includes training or fine-tuning our own models.
- We remove or mask names, phone numbers and other details that identify a caller or your business where it is practical before using data for training.
- We never share one customer's business information or call content with another customer.
- Calls are processed by outside AI providers (see section 9). Their handling of data is covered by their own terms.
- Once data has been used to train a model, it cannot always be removed from that model. Deleting your account deletes your recordings and transcripts as described in our Privacy Policy, but not what a model has already learned.
By using the service, you confirm you have the right to let us use your call data this way and that you have given any notice to your callers that the law requires.
6. Text messages
The service can send text messages to you and your team, such as call summaries and messages. By giving us a phone number for texts, you agree to receive them. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. If the service texts your callers (for example appointment confirmations), you are responsible for having their consent where the law requires it.
Demo calls
When you ask for a demo on our website and give us your phone number, you agree that Ringorra can call and text you at that number about your receptionist, including with an AI voice and automated technology. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Say "stop" on a call or reply STOP to a text anytime, and we will stop. Message and data rates may apply.
7. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your business, hours, services and prices, and tell us when it changes. Your receptionist answers from what you give us.
- Only forward phone numbers you own or are allowed to use.
- Keep the numbers you give us for transfers and texts up to date.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Break any law, including telemarketing, robocall, consumer protection, privacy and anti-discrimination laws.
- Place unsolicited calls or texts, or run any outbound calling or texting campaign without our written agreement.
- Impersonate a person or company, or mislead callers about who they are talking to.
- Collect payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or passwords over the phone.
- Offer illegal products or services, or adult, gambling or weapons services without our written approval.
- Harass, threaten or defraud anyone.
- Copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, or try to get around its limits or security.
9. AI limits and third-party services
The receptionist is software. It can misunderstand a caller, give an incomplete or wrong answer, or fail to complete a booking, transfer or message. It is not a replacement for emergency services, and it does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Review your call summaries and tell us when something is wrong so we can fix it.
We run the service on outside providers for voice AI, phone lines, AI language models, hosting, calendars, email and payments. Their outages or changes can affect the service. If you connect your own tools (for example a calendar or CRM), your use of them is also covered by their terms.
10. Ownership
You own your business information and your customer data. You give us a license to use it, along with your recordings and transcripts, to run, support and improve the service as described in these terms and our Privacy Policy. We own the Ringorra software, AI models, prompts, setup methods, website and anything we create from de-identified or combined data. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
11. Availability
We work to keep the service running all the time, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or improve features as long as the core service you pay for keeps working.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or use the service in a way that could harm callers, us or our providers. We will tell you why by email when we can. Sections 5, 10, 13, 14 and 15 continue after your account ends.
13. Disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnity
Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, Ringorra is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, missed calls or bookings, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You agree to defend and cover us for claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, caused by your breach of these terms, the information you gave us, your callers' claims about recording or consent, or your failure to follow laws that apply to your business.
14. Disputes and arbitration
If you have a problem, email ops@ringorra.com first. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
If we cannot, you and Ringorra agree that any dispute related to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, held in Orange County, California, or online. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may ask a court to stop the misuse of intellectual property.
You and Ringorra each give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action, class arbitration or representative action. Claims may only be brought individually. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will go to court and not to arbitration.
You may opt out of this section by emailing ops@ringorra.com within 30 days of first signing up, with your business name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the Federal Arbitration Act. Any dispute that is not arbitrated will be handled in the state or federal courts in Orange County, California.
16. General
- Entire agreement: these terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service. They replace anything said or written before, including in sales calls.
- Severability: if any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a part of these terms, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
- Force majeure: neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at our providers or phone carriers, natural disasters and internet failures.
- Relationship: we are independent contractors. Nothing in these terms makes us partners, employees or agents of each other.
- Notices: we send notices to the email on your account. You send notices to ops@ringorra.com.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will email you at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
